What is Core Web Vitals?
Core Web Vitals is defined as a set of specific factors that Google considers critical in a webpage's overall user experience, measuring page loading, interactivity, and visual stability.
Detailed Architectural Context
Core Web Vitals are a collection of speed and visual indicators that directly impact organic search engine ranking. The three primary metrics are: Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) which measures perceived loading speed; Interaction to Next Paint (INP) which assesses input latency and UI responsiveness; and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) which measures visual layout stability during loading. Els Labs designs sites to rank by aiming for 100% green scores on these metrics.
